 Boarding / Layups includes:
Extra large stalls (16 ft. x 12 ft.)
Extra large stalls (12 ft. x 12 ft.)
Extra large stalls (10 ft. x 10 ft.)
All stalls are properly rubber matted with their own lighting and watering system. The stalls have ornate wrought iron grills giving our facility a less institutional look. Stalls are either bedded with shavings or straw, based on the boarder’s desire. Stalls are cleaned once daily.
Feeding is done twice daily in the majority of cases, however, some boarders require a more custom feeding plan involving additional feedings due to performance or health related reasons. Feed is a composition of various grains including sweet feed, Fat and Fiber (Beet Pulp and/or Whole or Rolled Oats, Bran, Trimax, Equalizer, Mare & Foal.) Other grains are available upon request. Supplement and medication administration is done based on the boarder’s or veterinarian’s directions. Hay is fed by weight corresponding to the horse’s weight, age and performance or as directed by the owner.
Langford Church Stables has wooden railed fencing for all of it’s turnouts. Boarder and layups have the option of group or individual turnout with shelters available. (individual turnout is charged $25 extra per month in addition to the monthly board.
Boarders that are on our recovery program, requiring extra care such as chiropractic, therapeutic exercising, massage therapy, medication administration, wrapping and bandaging or other recovery requirements will be charged extra in addition to the general board starting at $425.00 per month.
