Langford Church Stables is a 30 acre peaceful, private equestrian facility with various equine amenities. These amenities tailor to racehorse layups, recovery programs and to limited amount of stalls for boarders interested in eventing, hunter, dressage or other equestrian disciplines. The stable is located at 237 Langford Church Road between Ancaster and Brantford in the heartland for fox hunting country approximately 20 km to Flamborough Race Track, 75 km to Woodbine, 60 km to Mohawk and 125 km to Fort Erie. This convenient location allows commuters easy access from various surrounding areas. The stable is located just off Highway #2 between the Copetown Exit and the Garden Avenue exit, four kilometers down Langford Church Road.
The stable offers 22 custom, clean, comfortable box stalls ranging from extra large broodmare stalls to smaller box stalls. Each stall is cleaned once daily and has rubber matted floors, it's own lighting and watering system. The stables provides a wide variety of equine feed to suit each horse's needs. The stable also provides a large wash area (open during the warmer months), tack area, equipped with a vacuum cleaner and heaters. In addition to the above, the stables offers a 70 ft x 144 ft indoor arena with Royal Winter Fair Footing and a one of a kind heated viewing room overlooking the indoor riding arena and beautiful portion of the countryside. Outside you can find wooden fenced paddocks for group or individual turn out suitable for layups, broodmares in foal and boarders. Paddocks with shelters are available. A new 200 ft x 300 ft outdoor show ring has been completed and phase 1 of the x-country course. (up to training level) has also been completed. The owners, Mr. Murray Hisey a feed and supplement consultant and Ms. Dana R. Karczewski a previous member of the Canadian Horse and Pony Club who has worked with Thoroughbreds and Jumpers for over thirty years.
Langford Church Stables is a peaceful private stable with a veterinarian, equine chiropractor and equine massage therapist available for equine recovery or to it's boarders. It offers lessons and clinics in eventing, dressage, hunter and jumper. Integrated with the Canadian Horse and Pony Club, many of it's younger students are member of the Canadian Horse and Pony Club.
Langford Church Stables has several spots available for layups and training programs to suit each horses needs.
